I am a freelance photographer based in Washington, DC, spending most of my time behind the camera capturing live music and the occasional sporting event. My interest in photojournalism increases on an almost daily basis, however, and I am constantly taking notes on how to better what I am able to produce from both technical and aesthetic standpoints.

My interest in photography began in high school, when I spent two years in the darkroom, and continued while studying architecture at The Catholic University of America in the District. Photography took somewhat of a backseat during college, but I believe that the design-oriented curriculum helped in developing a sharper eye for all things visual.

Some of my work has been published in DC Magazine, The Onion A/V Club, OnTap Magazine, Brightest Young Things, the GW Hatchet, Washingtonian.com and is featured on various musicians' websites and MySpace pages. I have been involved with DCist Exposed (2008) and I'm With The Band (2009) and contribute regularly to DCist.com.
